Eliot Dewitt

Eliot Dewitt was born in Austin, Texas and moved to Collingswood, NJ when he was six years old. He has been fortunate enough to call Collingswood his home for most of his life and is a proud Zane North Elementary alum and a graduate of Collingswood High School.  

Throughout the years, Eliot has always had a passion for politics, history, and American government. At twelve years old, he attended the Hillary Clinton rally on the eve of the 2016 election on Independence Mall and at sixteen he volunteered for the Bernie Sanders campaign during the 2020 primaries. Eliot is currently studying Political Science at Camden County College and will be participating in the Democracy Summer project through Senator Andy Kim's office this summer, which trains and deploys the next generation of Democratic organizers and leaders to win elections all over America.

As a member of the Collingswood Democratic Committee, Eliot is grateful for the opportunity to serve and give back to his community. He feels passionately about gun control and wants to help increase engagement and voter turnout among young people.
