Jessica Stokes

Secretary

Jessica is a life-long resident of Collingswood, having grown up and still residing on East Knight Avenue. Jessica studied Emergency Management and Geography at Millersville University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in both fields, and a Master’s in Emergency Management. Jessica is also a Certified Emergency Manager with the New Jersey Emergency Management Association, holds a certification as a Car Seat Technician through Safe Kids New Jersey, and is working toward becoming a Certified Floodplain Manager.

Currently, Jessica is a Climate Resilience and Hazard Mitigation Planner. In this role, Jessica writes grants for Hazard Mitigation Projects, leads planning initiatives for Hazard Mitigation Plans across the country, and encourages a whole community approach in order to be prepared for and respond to natural and manmade hazards.

Jessica is involved locally as a volunteer on the Consolidated Planning Board and as a Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator. In her limited free time, Jessica enjoys reading, exercising, browsing local shops, being with family and friends, and pampering her cats Fitzgerald and Marlowe.
