Robert Rodriguez

Robert was born and raised in Collingswood and is a graduate of Collingswood High School (class of 1975). He has been married to his wife Karen since 1985 and they have two children, Robert and Christopher, both of whom also graduated from Collingswood High School (the third generation in the family to graduate from CHS!).

Over the years, Robert has been dedicated to serving his hometown in  many ways. He was a member of the Collingswood Business Association from 1981 to 1990 and president of the Collingswood Democrat Club from 1996 to 1997. He served on the Collingswood Historic Board and was a member of the Collingswood Holiday Parade committee for 20 years. He umpired for the Collingswood Little League for 30 years and served on their board for 5 years. He served as director of the Collingswood Recreation Department from 2000 to 2019. He and his wife were both active with PTA, youth theatre, and the school soccer booster club,

Robert started Rodgers Janitorial Company in 1980 and worked there for ten years. He then moved into a management position at the Delaware River Port Authority and has been employed there since 1990. He continues to serve Collingswood, helping out with the Collingswood Book Festival, as a trustee for Knight Park, as a commissioner for the Collingswood Housing Authority, and has supervised the daily operations of Roberts Pool for the past three years.

With all his past involvement throughout the Collingswood community, Robert brings a wealth of experience to the Camden County Democrat Committee. He looks forward to working with this team to continue making Collingswood (and Camden County) the place we all want to be.
