David Galpern

David is a lifelong resident of South Jersey and now calls Collingswood his home. He studied at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, earning a BA in Political Science and Economics. He is now a J.D. candidate at Rutgers School of Law in Camden, entering his 3rd year. At Rutgers Law School, he has participated in the Student Bar Association, representing the interests of part-time students throughout the campus.

Currently, David works as a Legislative Aide for Assembly Majority Leader Louis Greenwald and Assemblywoman Pamela Lampitt in the 6th Legislative District, working on various policy issues throughout the state. He has worked extensively on policy areas relating to student mental health, tuition-free community college, and access to family planning services.

David is excited to use his experience to help Collingswood continue to grow and prosper, and is proud to be working alongside such devoted citizens.
